Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide. After a short briefing about the safari, you will be transferred to your hotel in Kigali for relaxation and overnight stay.
After breakfast, enjoy a guided Kigali City Tour — including visits to the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre for a moving insight into Rwanda’s history, and local markets and key city landmarks. After lunch, begin a scenic drive northwards, crossing the border into Uganda. Continue through the beautiful countryside of southwestern Uganda toward Bwindi Impenetrable National Park — home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. Enter the forest for an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience, spending up to one hour observing a habituated gorilla family in their natural habitat — learning how they eat, communicate, and play. After the trek, relax then check out and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoying views of rolling hills, crater lakes, and rural communities. Have lunch en route. Start the day with an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains — spotting lions, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and various bird species. After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel — famous for its high concentration of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and water birds. After the cruise, transfer to Kibale Forest National Park — the primate capital of East Africa. Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, head to Kibale Forest for a chimpanzee trekking experience. Begin with an early morning breakfast, then head for a game drive on the northern bank of the Nile — offering chances to see giraffes, elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and hartebeests. After breakfast, visit the Top of Murchison Falls where the Nile forces its way through a narrow gorge — creating a spectacular natural wonder. Afterward, drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided rhino tracking experience on foot — the only place in Uganda where rhinos can be seen in the wild.
