You will be picked up by our company safari guide from Entebbe or Kampala to start your safari to Kibale National Park — the primate capital of the world. You will have stunning views of tea plantations, homesteads, and views of the Rwenzori mountain ranges. Have lunch en route, then continue to the park. Check in to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.
Start your day with an early morning breakfast, then head to the park headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing, be led by experienced park guides into the forest in search of chimpanzees. This activity takes 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on where the chimpanzees are located. Once found, spend one hour in their natural environment — learning how they feed, communicate, play and fight while taking photos and videos. In the afternoon, head for the Bigodi community walk — another memorable experience, where you will see different tree species, birds, local brew makings, craft making and cultural dances. Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.
After an early morning breakfast, check out from the hotel and start your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Pass via the Equator crossing then continue to the salty lakes area. Arrive at your lodge, have lunch and check in for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.
Have morning breakfast, then head to the savannah plains in search of animals like lions, buffaloes, leopards, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, and a variety of bird species. After lunch, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along the calm waters of the Kazinga Channel — where you will see large pods of hippos, Nile crocodiles, bathing elephants, and countless water birds, making it one of the best boat safaris in Uganda. After, return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out, then start your journey back. Have lunch en route, then continue to your preferred destination — marking the end of your 5-day Kibale & Queen Elizabeth National Park safari.
