You will be picked up by our company driver guide from Entebbe or Kampala to begin your journey to the nearest and smallest national park in Uganda — a 4-hour drive from Kampala. Enjoy the changing landscapes and have lunch en route. On arrival, check in to the lodge and relax as you prepare for an evening game drive to spot zebras, impalas, and elands as the sun sets.
Have breakfast, then head for a morning game drive to catch early risers like buffaloes, hyenas, topi, oribi, and waterbucks — creating memorable experiences with wildlife. After, return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, take a peaceful boat cruise on Lake Mburo where you will view hippos and birds. After the boat cruise, enjoy a guided horse-riding safari in the grassy ridges of the eastern part of the park. Then return to the lodge for relaxation and overnight stay.
After breakfast, start your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe. Make a stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe for lunch, then continue back to Kampala/Entebbe — ending the 3-day Lake Mburo National Park safari.
